Ahmad Maadarani
is the Founder and President of the International Union of Arab Master Chefs, and the Founder and Developer of International Culinary Judging Systems in the fields of culinary arts and gastronomy.

Since 2018, he has led the creation of a comprehensive institutional framework that redefined culinary judging from a symbolic designation into a regulated professional authority, governed by defined mandates, standards, and accountability mechanisms.

He spearheaded the implementation of a strict institutional separation of competencies between:

  • training and professional development,

  • professional accreditation,

  • executive culinary judging,

  • and the supreme regulatory and arbitration authority,

through formally registered legal entities, codified regulations, and auditable operational pathways.

Mr. Maadarani is recognized for his multidisciplinary professional and institutional expertise, encompassing:

  • the legislative and structural design of international judging systems and evaluation frameworks;

  • the development of scoring systems, assessment methodologies, and arbitration mechanisms;

  • institutional leadership and governance across multi-jurisdictional entities;

  • academic and professional qualification frameworks;

  • protection of professional titles and designations;

  • and electronic documentation and verification systems for professional credentials.

Under his leadership, the Union adopted in 2019 an advanced electronic documentation and verification system (unique reference numbers and QR codes), positioning it among the earliest professional frameworks in the culinary field to implement such a level of governance and transparency.

He is widely regarded as an institutional and regulatory reference in culinary judging and professional accreditation, operating under a pragmatic, application-driven approach, and consistently affirming that:
