About iuoamc
International Union of Arab Master Chefs
is an independent international professional organization, established in 2018, serving as a regulatory and accreditation reference in the fields of culinary arts, gastronomy, and professional culinary judging at the international level.
The Union was founded in response to a genuine professional and regulatory need within the culinary sector, particularly in light of the widespread misuse of professional titles, the absence of structured judging frameworks, and the frequent confusion between training, accreditation, and professional authority.
The Union operates under an institutional approach based on:
-
Establishing professional and regulatory standards for culinary arts and culinary judging.
-
Regulating professional judging activities through clearly defined systems, criteria, and scopes of authority.
-
Accrediting and qualifying culinary and judging professionals through structured and verified pathways.
-
Protecting professional and judging titles from misleading or unauthorized use.
The Union exercises its role as a regulatory reference body, not as a media platform or an honorary association. It functions within organized legal and accreditation frameworks and has implemented an electronic verification and documentation system since 2019, using unique reference numbers, QR codes, and official registries to ensure transparency, credibility, and professional integrity.
The Union affirms that professional practice and culinary judging are institutional responsibilities, governed by methodology, competence, and accountability—not by popularity, self-designation, or promotional claims.
