Chef Motaz El Sayed: General Administrative Coordinator and Office Manager of the iuoamc in Saudi Arabia


In the heart of the beautiful city of Alexandria, Motaz El Sayed was born on March 27, 1969. The old streets and alleys of the city were filled with the aroma of the Mediterranean Sea and delicious flavors. From a young age, Motaz showed a special passion for the kitchen, inspired by his mother's traditional dishes and his grandmother's incomparable recipes.

His actual journey began when he decided to enroll in the High Institute for Tourism and Hotels, specializing in hotel cooking. Despite the many challenges he faced, Motaz graduated with a good grade in 1990. Not content with just that, he sought to enhance his skills by obtaining a professional master’s degree in executive chef preparation with an excellent grade in 2023.

After graduation, Motaz embarked on his professional journey, moving between several prestigious hotels and restaurants in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He worked in renowned places such as the Concorde Hotel in Medina and the Shafa Abha Hotel in Abha, where he excelled in presenting new dishes and developing menus that were well-received by guests.

The road was not easy; Motaz faced many challenges, but his passion and determination to succeed always drove him forward. He participated in numerous training courses to improve his skills in various fields such as time and stress management, creative thinking, and cost control. He also obtained certificates in HACCP to ensure food safety and hygiene.

Motaz was known for his exceptional ability to manage teams and communicate effectively, making him a beloved and trusted leader among his colleagues. He always paid great attention to details to ensure the highest quality possible. Whether working in a luxurious hotel kitchen or a small restaurant, he put the same amount of love and passion into every dish he prepared.

One day, after years of hard work and traveling between cities, Motaz decided to return to his hometown of Alexandria. There, he was warmly welcomed by his family and friends with pride and admiration. He decided to pass on his knowledge and experience to the new generation of chefs, becoming a teacher and trainer, inspiring many with his stories and rich experience.

Thus, Motaz El Sayed transformed from a child dreaming of becoming a great chef into one of the most prominent chefs in the region, leaving an unforgettable mark in the culinary world. His journey exemplified determination and passion, inspiring everyone that dreams can be achieved with faith and hard work.
