Your Food is Your Medicine in Fighting Cancer 


 

Introduction 

Healthy and Functional Foods support reducing the risk factors for Cancer and other diseases such as Diabetes, Heart Attacks, Stroke, Osteoporosis, Poor Immunity, Obesity and other Illnesses.

Foods that Fight Cancer:
* Fruits and vegetables،  unsalted nuts and seeds , garlic and onion. 
* Virgin Olive Oil.
* Dietary Fibers.
* Healthy fluids such as vegetable juices, green tea, ginger, mint,  cardamon, 
and cinnamon. 
Lean protein such as fat free dairy products, legumes، and it's advised not to consume lean red meat more than twice a week.

* Canned meat, sausage, refined starch, sugar, sweetened juices, soft drinks, sweets, saturated and hydrogenated fat.

The cooking methods are recommend to be baking, boiling,
 grilling ، steaming steaming , air frying, and it's not recommend to use deep fat Frying and grilling on charcoal.

General Health Guidelines:
* Avoid smoking (direct and passive) and alcoholic drinks.
* Practicing regular physical activities.
* Maintenaning the body weight at the normal range in addition to blood sugar, blood pressure and lipids levels. 
* Not to excessively exposed to sunlight.
* Stress Management.
* Getting adequate sleeping.
* Performing medical checkup regularly and consult doctors and performing early detection tests for cancer.
